Dear Imagine Avondale Parents and Community,
As principal of Imagine Avondale Elementary and Imagine Avondale Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year. The 2017-2018 is going to be an amazing year together. We are off to an incredible beginning.
This is a very special year for us at Imagine Avondale because it is our 10th school year. I remember back to our very beginning when the campus was just an empty lot in the Avondale community. I literally watched the builiding being constructed and wondered about all of the great things that would happen within the walls. It is with extreme pleasure that I announce that there are still five staff members who have been here since Imagine Avondale enception in August of 2007. Shane Boettcher, Christina Gonzalez, Debra Thompson, Stephanie Walsh and I have watched the school become a wonderful place for students, parents, teachers and community members.
We are all excited to have our students back on campus, while meeting our newly enrolled students. The first week of school was filled with energy and enthusiasm, which set a positive tone for character development, expectations, and building quality relationships. It is our mission to ensure that every child feel welcomed, connected and a part of our Imagine Avondale family. We strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities by working hard and showing personal growth through our character program. At Imagine Avondale, we have amazing teachers who are dedicated to educating children. We also love to celebrate successes.
Please follow us on Facebook, use our website, listen to our phone blasts, read our email blasts, newletters and other forms of communication to stay informed. If you are not receiving our phone blasts and email blasts, please see the ladies in the office for your correct information.
Once again, I would like to welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year. Thank you for choosing Imagine Avondale. We are so excited about the year and our 10 year celebration.
